Alfalfa seeds come from a plant which is a member of the pea family. Once sprouted, these tiny seeds have a mild spicy flavour and a crispy crunch. They are a great addition to salads, sandwiches and stir-fries.

Storage instructions
 
STORE IN A COOL, DRY AND DARK PLACE. AFTER OPENING, KEEP IN AN AIRTIGHT CONTAINER.

Usage suggestions
 
To sprout: Rinse 2 tablespoons of alfalfa seeds and drain. No need to soak overnight. Rinse and drain twice daily for 3-4 days, keeping sprouts in a warm, dark place. On the last day leave on window sill to develop chlorophyll. Rinse off hulls, drain and refrigerate in an airtight container.
